Leaving flowers

We went to visit Thomas today.  It's bittersweet to be there.  I like to go and be close to him, but I know its just his body and that he really isn't there.  But it is nice to have a physical place to go and be close to him. 

Ellie's been walking around the house with a framed photo of Thomas and saying his name.  It breaks my heart, and makes me so happy at the same time.  It's sad because this will be all she has of her brother in this life, but happy because hopefully this will help her to not forget him, and the short time that they had together.
