July 2018

July in Utah is the best! There is so much going on, friends visiting from out of state, and fireworks three times!

Draper Days is our favorite!  The 4th of July and Pioneer Day aren't bad either!

We took a trip up to Rexburg to meet up with one of my very best friends and her family.  It was so fun to reminisce about the beginning of our marriage and Ellie's first year.  Its hard to believe the tiny baby we brought to our apartment is so big now!
The Hickory is still there!

Other fun parts of the month included dress like a cow day, buying school supplies, finally going to McCune Mansion, fixing up the front yard, and meeting up with our friends from San Diego!

Family Home Evening

For family home evening this Monday we didn't have a lot of ideas.  However, we do really like to walk around the buildings on campus and explore.  We decided to go the Hart building (fitness building) and the BYU-Idaho Center (auditorium/fitness), because they are connected by a sky tunnel.

She was in heaven
Can I just say that this is seriously the best way to exhaust Ellie's seemingly unlimited supply of energy right before bed time.  We just let her run, and I mean that, she literally was running the entire time that we were there.

She kept making this face for some reason

When we got into the auditorium she went up and down the stairs dozens of times.  We just sat down and watched her.  It was so funny to see the top of this little head bouncing along between the rows.
Goofy face again

Zombie Apocalypse

Today was the 3rd annual Zombie walk in Rexburg.  We have never been to this, so we were pretty excited to go.
The Zombies coming after us
Ellie sat pretty still in Andy's lap, but when I told her that the zombies wanted to eat her brains, she started smiling and laughing.  It even made the zombies crack a smile, that is just the power of Ellie's cuteness!
Even baby dolls are useless against the power of zombies
They ended the walk down main street with a dance party, and ironically didn't play "Thriller".

I love Halloween.
