November 2018

The month of November started with a bang.  Ellie had a cold, and progressively got worse as the day went on.  By nighttime her breathing was labored, she had to lay down after walking up the stairs and her heart was racing.  Andy was class until 9:30 that night, so I called my mom and she came out and watched Penny and Charlie while I took Ellie to Primary Children's E.R.  They took her back and gave her 3 albuterol treatments that weren't doing much.  They decided to admit to start steroids, and keep a breathing treatment going.

brave girl!
She ended up staying for 2 days and 2 nights, and was so brave and good the whole time.  We have an inhaler that she using now, and hopefully will be able to prevent this from happening again.
she liked picking her food out from a menu, even though she didn't have much of an  appetite
She watched a ton of movies, colored and used play dough to pass the time

She's home!

Penelope turned 3 on November 24th!  She is so much fun, imaginative, cuddly, and very sweet.  She opened presents, we went out to breakfast, we went and Santa (which she was really excited about, but froze upon actually going up to him, and then we had a birthday party with our family.

September 2018

We moved to Seattle for Andy to start graduate school and the University of Washington!  Its has been so amazing living in the Seattle area again and being near my family.  The girls have had the best time being with their cousins.
Right across the street from our house!

We had birthday party for Ellie, we got together with friends and family, explored our new area, and Ellie started the 1st grade.  She loves her teacher, Ms.Thomas, and has adjusted really well to her new school.

We were so blessed to be able to get into family housing.  We are across the street from the building that Andy goes to school in, they do lots of fun activities, and there is a ton of kids to play with!
