Three Waterfalls

We decided to go on a little outing today, because it was finally going to be below 90 degrees, and our landlord was working on the apartment below ours.  We drove up to Mesa Falls which is only about 40 minutes away and it was beautiful! There was a great rainbow while we were there, and Ellie loved to look at the water rushing over the cliff.

When we were driving back we had been driving for about 10 minutes when we noticed a sign for cave falls, and since it was only 19 miles away, we decided to check it out.  It was so neat, and I can't believe I hadn't heard about this area before.  If you keep going on the trail it takes you all the way to Old Faithful (which would have been a 33 mile hike one way so you can see why we didn't do it).  But on the way you do pass 5 or 6 waterfalls.  We kept going pass cave falls and we eventually stopped at Bechler Falls.  If you are ever in South Eastern Idaho in the summer, I highly suggest this trail, it is well worth it!
