Arches National Park

We went down to Arches and had so much fun.  What an incredibly beautiful area.  Its so interesting that even though Arches and Canyon Lands are so close together but they are so different from each other.  Going in April was a good decission  because it was a little rainy and cool and so we were able to do a lot without getting super tired from the sun.

We drove most of the way down on Friday and spent the night.

Balanced Rock

 Andy and I were big nerds when we got to Double Arch because they use it in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

Ellie loves being outside and playing in dirt, so this was a pretty great day for her.

We didn't hike to Delicate Arch because its a pretty long hike and there was no parking so the lookout was good enough for us.

At the end of the day Andy turned to me and said "You know after all this exercise I could really go for a big juicy cheeseburger."  So thats what we did.

I feel like a lot of people think that Utah is useless and ugly.  But it is honestly so beautiful and has such a varied landscape.  If you get the chance you really should go.
