Labor Day Weekend

We had a busy and fun Labor Day weekend.  On Saturday we went to the zoo.  In the morning it was just us, and then in the afternoon my two sister-in-laws met up with their kids.

I'm glad we went in the morning and happened to be standing in the right place at the right time, because we got to be apart of a test group to feed the giraffes.  It was awesome!

They also have robot dinosaurs set up around the zoo and Ellie loved those.

Andy and I are Jurassic park nerds

It was a blustery day and so we never got too hot.  You could feel fall in the air, and I am really ready for some cooler weather.

They have a baby orangutan and he is so cute!

Best picture I got of all the Romero cousins together

Tired kids were Andy's job

On Monday we did some shopping, and started stocking up on diapers and wipes for Penny.  Hurray for coupons and sales!
Later we went for a drive and ended up in Park City.  We had lunch and ice cream and walked up and down main street.

It was a great weekend.
