Andy had a two week ceramic workshop in North Carolina, so I went to Seattle to see my family while he was gone. It is such long drive by yourself, on the way there I split it up by staying with our friends The Olson's.
When we got to my sisters house, Ellie and her cousin Ella immediately went to Ella's room and started playing barbies.
It was really warm most of the time we were there, so the kids spent a lot of the time outside, in the sprinkler and eating their dinners outside.

On the weekend I took some of the cousins to Seattle. We went to the troll, the new park in Seattle Center, the fountain and out for Dicks. We had a great time!
We spent most of our time with family and had a wonderful visit. It's always sad to leave, but this time it was kind of exciting because we knew that Andy would be home just a few days later!
p.s. Washington has the most beautiful interstate, at least on the west side
