Draper Days!

We love Draper Days, and we love it even more because it is at the park right next to the house.  They have a really great parade, a fair and the an amazing firework show that is in the field right behind the house.

I love fairs, but I hate finding parking, and dealing with traffic and crowds.  So Draper Days is really great for us, because we can walk over.

Friday night, after Ellie was in bed, Andy and I walked over to the fair and looked around.  It was really nice to be there without Ellie and enjoy all the booths without her picking up everything.  It kind of felt like we were dating again, and it was a lot of fun.

On Saturday morning we went to the parade.  We have the best set up with a canopy and chairs.

Some tool was walking around before the parade started on stilts with a scary mask on for no reason.  Ellie was so scared she was trembling

We climbed onto the roof to watch the fireworks and it was awesome!  Through some miracle Ellie sleeps through the fireworks, even though they are so close to the house that it shakes when they go off.

Draper Days was awesome as usual, and we always look forward to it.
