October Happenings

We had a fun, even though it was hot, October.

On October 1st the girls woke up to new pjs, pumpkins, and a few other Halloween treats.

We watched conference, went to the beach, the downtown library, and hung out in pajamas.

We had our annual viewing of Sleepy Hallow with caramel apples that we do on the first Monday of October.  I also took the girls to Old Town for the fall festival.  Unfortunately that led me to the worst case of food poisoning ever!

Trunk or treat with our ward was a lot of fun!  Andy and I went as Ron and Tammy 2 from Parks and Rec.  We also had some cousins stay the night!

The days leading up to Halloween we went to the BLVD Boo Parade, carved pumpkins, and our neighbor was so sweet and brought Ellie over a halloween bucket full of treats.
On Halloween laid low until it was time for trick or treating because Ellie had a low fever all day and spent most of it napping.  Thankfully she rallied for trick or treating and had a great time.  She didn't eat any candy and went straight to bed when we got home.
