Old San Diego

We visited Old San Diego on Saturday.  Its the original settlement of the area.  They have kept things historical and it was really fun!  First we visited Heritage Park and marbled at the beautiful historical homes.

Then we made our way over the to the old part of town that they have kept up.  We ate an amazing Mexican restaurant!  It was so lovely to be sitting outside enjoying a delicious meal in February.

The next stop was the Mormon Battalion that was so interesting and I learned a new part of church history.

To end the day we went to Point Loma and then Sunset Cliffs to watch the sunset.  It was so beautiful and my first experience of watching the sunset into the ocean like that.
