We had a great halloween. We did a few Halloween activities in the week leading up to the big day.
We went on the Provo River Halloween Cruise, and I'm really glad we got a deal on the tickets because I would have been pretty disappointed otherwise.
We also went to the Salt Lake City Monster Block party. We did this last year and had a great time, and we had fun again this year. Ellie decided to be Belle for this outing.
On Halloween we didn't do much during the day. We ran some errands and had to take the car in for some repairs. We made homemade root beer before we went out, which was a huge hit.
Ellie was really into trick or treating this year, and because of that I'm really grateful that the dentist does a candy buy back. We let her eat pretty much what she wanted that night, but the next day she picked out some choice pieces and turned the rest in for a dollar a pound.
She is so cute!! I love when you do her hair in a bun on the top of her head. It makes her look like 10 years older! Good idea with the candy buyback. I'm trying to think of ideas to tell Vince all the candy is gone :)
