The next day we went to Coronado beach and it was glorious! The water was so nice and inviting. Unfortunately I acquired the worst sunburn I've had in years on the front of my legs.
After going back to the hotel to get rid of the 50 pounds of sand we brought back with us somehow, we went to Balboa park. I know we will be spending a lot of time there when we move. There are something like 15 museums plus the San Diego Zoo, all at this park.

Our last day we drove an extra 40 minutes on our way home to stop by Downtown Disney. Ellie was in love, and thankfully is young enough not to notice that the gate to Disneyland is literally right there. She made it her mission to try on as many pairs of Mickey ears as she could and we ended our pit stop with the rainforest cafe for lunch before we finished the 9 hour drive back to Utah.
We are going to have so many things to do while we are living down there. I'm really excited to experience all there is in Southern California.
I'm so excited for you! It'll be so fun to live there.
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I can't wait to come visit :)
