It has been really warm the last few days and Andy finished school for the semester on Wednesday, so we headed to the beach. We looked up the best beaches in Florida and Clearwater was on all of them. It is only two hours away and it is on the gulf side of the state.
It was so beautiful! It was like driving into paradise when we got up the top of the bridge that brings you into the city.
Andy went for a walk while Ellie and I played in the sand and he found a tree that people hang broken shells on. He put one for all 4 of us.

When it was time to eat lunch I gave Ellie a sandwich and she was walking around and all of sudden there was about 20 seagulls all over her trying to get the sandwich. It was crazy and hilarious! I was the bad parent who laughed. Andy was the good parent who threw the sandwich and rescued Ellie, who was freaking out.
And is usual fashion, our little water addict did not want to leave.
It was a great day.
