The month of November started with a bang. Ellie had a cold, and progressively got worse as the day went on. By nighttime her breathing was labored, she had to lay down after walking up the stairs and her heart was racing. Andy was class until 9:30 that night, so I called my mom and she came out and watched Penny and Charlie while I took Ellie to Primary Children's E.R. They took her back and gave her 3 albuterol treatments that weren't doing much. They decided to admit to start steroids, and keep a breathing treatment going.

She ended up staying for 2 days and 2 nights, and was so brave and good the whole time. We have an inhaler that she using now, and hopefully will be able to prevent this from happening again.

Penelope turned 3 on November 24th! She is so much fun, imaginative, cuddly, and very sweet. She opened presents, we went out to breakfast, we went and Santa (which she was really excited about, but froze upon actually going up to him, and then we had a birthday party with our family.
