Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Years

On christmas eve we made cookies, and then went to Coronado Island for dinner and to look the Del Lights.

Christmas morning Ellie slept until 7 and we all went downstairs.  Ellie was so excited with everything she opened and Penny only cared about holding a puzzle that Ellie got.

We had pancakes and bacon and then went to church.  Afterwards we headed up to Andy's brother house for dinner.  All the cousins had a great time and Penny had a great time destroying the train set that they were all trying to build.

Ellie got lots of Star Wars stuff and lots of baby stuff.  She has been happily playing ever since.

For New Years we didn't do much, again because of applying to graduate school, but we did get out to look at Temple lights and to drink some sparkling apple cider.

2016 was a pretty good year for us, and I hope 2017 will also be good!
