Its Fall Y'all!

I love Fall!  Hands down my favorite time of year.  Darn San Diego and it perpetual sunny weather, we won't experience a true fall this year.  We are going to Utah in a few weeks, and I'm hoping we will get a taste of it while we are there.

Last night was perfect though.  It cooled down quite a bit last night and I had the windows and doors open, and our neighbor had a bonfire going in their backyard.  The slight smoky smell, cool air, and listening to the leaves rustle on trees made me so happy.

I decorate for any occasion, and put up our fall things on September 1st.

Ellie, Penelope and I wen through the craft stores and enjoyed looking at the halloween decorations that are out.  I also ordered the girls their halloween p.j.'s and t-shirts.

For dinner tonight I made comfort, fall type food.  We had bacon wrapped meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn and an apple crumble pie for dessert.

I have a long list of fall activities for our family to do, and I'm so excited to do them and have our sweet Penny's first Halloween.
