Utah and the 4th of July

We went to Utah for the weekend.  My sweet friend Olivia was sealed in the temple to her husband Aurelio.  It was so great to be there and support them.

Ellie was so excited to be back in Utah and back in Grammy and Papas house.  We ate lots of watermelon, spent lots of time in the backyard and loved being up in the mountains.

On Sunday we were able to go to Thomas' grave and it was so nice.  This was Penelope's first time being there.  I love the sweet spirit that we can feel there.  We love him so much.

On the 4th we went to the wards annual breakfast and then went to park downtown with Olivia and Aurelio. 

We had our traditional viewing of Independence Day and then dinner with family.  Andy did a little firework show for us and then we were all in bed by 10:30 because we like to party.

We left the next morning to head back home.  We made pit stops along the way and the drive was basically uneventful, thank goodness.

I'm surprised how home sick I've been for Utah.  I was so glad to be back even for just a few days.
