Andy is busy. I mean really busy. He is in school, working, and serves as the 1st counselor in the elders quorum presidency. We don't have a lot of time to spend together as a family.
Today Andy decided to take the morning and afternoon off from school and we were able to have a great time together! We left the house and ended up in St. Augustine . We LOVED it there! It was the first time I have ever been to the Atlantic ocean and I was blown away from its beauty. Ellie almost immediately got knocked over by a wave, but she was so happy.

I love this picture of the two of them |

Ellie running wild and free, just the way she likes it |

The picture below is on the way home. Since we didn't think we were going to be going so far we didn't pack any food. On the way out we went through McDonald's and got Ellie a happy meal. It came in a bucket which I gave to her when she was done. A few minutes later she started screaming because she had gotten it stuck on her head. Being the good mother I am, I took a picture before I helped get it off.
Afterwards we had to drop Andy off at work, which no one liked, and then Ellie and I went to our wards trunk or treat. Ellie has this beautiful dress that Andy's brother brought her from Spain when he and his wife went to Europe this summer, so that was her costume.

Not so scary trunk, but I didn't have time to do anything else |
It was a really great day, and Ellie passed out about 30 seconds after I put her to bed.
That sounds like a perfect day! I love the beach. Ellie is the cutest little Flamenco dancer!
ReplyDeleteFun! Glad you guys were able to go to St Augustine!
